DADDY: a love story

Join us on Feb 7 at 11am for a reading of DADDY, a new play by Lyam B. Gabel and Future Ghost (the dance floor, the hospital room, and the kitchen table). DADDY is a tender, funny, and mythic love story about trans* pregnancy, desire, and lineage. Set between the present and a reimagined American West, the play follows two queer cowboys as they build a family on their own terms. Bites and childcare provided.

Email [email protected] for more info or to secure childcare.

Please note that this performance will be recorded for development purposes.

Running Time: 60 minutes with no intermission.
Content Transparency: This reading includes mature themes and explicit language, references to sexual intimacy, pregnancy and reproductive health, and discussion of pregnancy loss and medical care.

Future Ghost is a queer and trans–led performance ensemble co-founded by Lyam B. Gabel and Joseph Amodei. Their work uses design-driven dramaturgy, media, and community research to create performances that hold queer history, care, and futurity with tenderness and rigor. Future Ghost makes work that invites audiences into what they call epic intimacy; closeness across time, bodies, and memory.
